Day 1
Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide and begin your tour. You will take a tour at Arlington National Cemetery.  You’ll see the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the Changing of the Guard and the Kennedy grave sites.  After your tour you’ll head downtown for a visit to the Smithsonian Museums.  You’ll have lunch at the museum cafeteria.  In the evening you’ll have dinner and then visit the NEW Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial before heading to your hotel for the evening.

Day 2
This morning you’ll have breakfast at your hotel and then head downtown for photo stop at the White House.  Then you’ll visit Ford’s Theatre and hear a park ranger lecture about President Lincoln’s assassination.  After the lecture you’ll have some time to shop for souvenirs and then you’ll continue to the National Archives where you’ll see an original copy of the Declaration of Independence and the Magna Carta.  Next you’ll have lunch at the Capitol Building.  After lunch you’ll see a short film about the legislative branch of our government and then you’ll take a guided tour inside the Capitol Building.  After the tour you’ll continue to the Library of Congress and Supreme Court for a visit.  In the evening you’ll have dinner and then tour the memorials.  You’ll see the Vietnam Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Memorial and the World War II Memorial and then you’ll head back to your hotel.

Day 3
This morning you’ll check out of your rooms and begin the drive to Philadelphia.  When you arrive you’ll visit the National Constitution Center and see multimedia presentation about the history of our government and the constitution.  After the presentation you’ll have time to view the exhibits.  Next you’ll continue to lunch at the Bourse Food Court.  After lunch you’ll see the Liberty Bell and then head to Independence Hall where you’ll hear a park ranger lecture about this historic place where the Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776.  After your visit you’ll continue the drive to New York.  Upon arrival you’ll have dinner and then free time in Times Square before checking into your hotel.

Day 4
This morning you’ll take a guided Manhattan city tour including a visit to Columbus Circle, Lincoln Center, Central Park, Harlem, Museum Mile, Fifth Avenue, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Rockefeller Center, the New York Public Library, and the Flatiron Building.  Your tour will end at the New York University campus in Greenwich Village.  You’ll visit Washington Square Park and then have some free time for lunch.  Next you’ll continue to the Meat Packing District, one of Manhattan’s trendiest neighborhoods. You’ll see designer boutiques right next door to meat packing facilities here. It’s also the location of the starting point of New York’s newest park, the High Line.  The park is built on an elevated railway track that is no longer used and it spans over 20 blocks.  You’ll enjoy the interesting park design and great views of the Hudson as you walk along the High Line.  In the evening you’ll have dinner in midtown and then see a Broadway show.

Day 5
This morning you’ll catch the ferry over to Ellis Island where you’ll visit the immigration museum.  Over one hundred million Americans can trace their lineage to a relative that passed through immigration at Ellis Island during its operation.  You’ll also see great views of the Statue of Liberty from here.  After your visit you’ll return to Manhattan and walk up to Wall Street where you’ll see the New York Stock Exchange.  Then you’ll continue to  World Trade Center Site and get to see the NEW 9/11 Memorial.  You’ll see the site and take a break for lunch.  Then you’ll continue to Chinatown and Little Italy where you’ll have a chance to shop and explore.  In the evening you’ll have dinner and then see the Manhattan skyline from the 86th floor observatory at the Empire State Building.

Day 6
This morning you’ll visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Then you’ll continue to the United Nations for a guided tour. After the tour you’ll head to one of New York’s main train stations, Grand Central Terminal.  You’ll see the impressive artwork on the ceiling in the main hall and then have lunch in the lower level food court .  After lunch you’ll continue to Rockefeller Center where you’ll see NBC’s New York studios on their studio tour.  After the tour you’ll have some free time for shopping on Fifth Avenue. You will then depart for home.

Day 1

This morning you’ll have breakfast in your hotel and then head to the Holocaust Museum where you’ll have a chance to visit the permanent exhibition. After your visit you’ll have the rest of the day to explore the Smithsonian museums. In the evening you’ll have dinner and then take an evening tour of the memorials. You’ll visit the Vietnam War Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Memorial and the World War II Memorial.

Day 3
This morning you’ll head over to the Capitol Building for a guided tour. You’ll have a chance to see the exhibits at the visitors center, see a short film about the legislative branch of government and then take guided tour inside the Capitol Building. After the tour you’ll head over to the Library of Congress where you can admire the beauty of one of Washington’s most impressive buildings. Next you’ll continue the Supreme Court where you’ll hear a lecture inside the court room. You’ll learn about the court’s function and the judicial branch of our government. After a break for lunch you’ll head back to your hotel to retrieve your luggage and then board a train for New York. When you arrive in New York (approximately 4 hours later), you’ll head to your hotel for check in. In the evening you’ll have dinner and then free time in Times Square.

Day 4
This morning you’ll take the subway down to Battery Park and then catch the ferry over to Ellis Island. You’ll visit the immigration museum, hear a park ranger lecture and see the film, “Island of Hope, Island of Tears.”After your visit you’ll return to Manhattan and then walk up to Wall Street and the 9/11 Memorial. You’ll see the New York Stock Exchange and the former site of the World Trade Center. Near the former WTC site, you’ll visit the Fireman’s Memorial at the firehouse located across from the site and St. Paul’s Chapel. St. Paul’s is also located across from the site and miraculously suffered no damage from the collapse of the towers. It served as a place of rest and refuge for workers in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. You’ll continue up to the area of Chinatown and Little Italy where you’ll take a break for lunch and have some free time. Then you’ll continue to the Lower East Side Tenement Museum for a guided tour. You’ll visit an actual tenement that has been vacant since the early 1900’s and you’ll see a restored apartment and learn about some of its residents and how life was in a tenement at the end of the 1800’s and the early 1900’s. After your visit you’ll head back to midtown and have some free time. In the evening you’ll have dinner and then see a Broadway show.

Day 5
Today you’ll walk over to the United Nations for a guided tour. You’ll learn about the establishment of the United Nations and its current function. You’ll also take a tour of the facility which usually includes a visit either to the Security Council or General Assembly chambers. After your tour you’ll head uptown for a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art. You’ll have a chance to view the galleries and exhibits on your own and have lunch. In the afternoon you’ll take a walking tour through Central Park where you’ll see the Boathouse, the Lake, the Bethesda Terrace, the Mall, Sheep Meadow and the Wollman Ice Rink. You’ll exit the park on Fifth Avenue where you’ll have some free time. In the evening you’ll have dinner and then visit the 86th floor observatory at the Empire State Building.

Day 6
This morning you’ll walk up to Rockefeller Center where you’ll take a guided tour at NBC’s New York studios. You’ll see the set of Saturday Night Live, the nightly news programs and more. After your tour you’ll have a chance to explore on your own. In the late afternoon, you will depart for home.

Day 1
Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide and begin your tour. You will then begin your day by going to Charlottesville, Virginia.  You will go to lunch at Michie Tavern. Michie Tavern has welcomed travelers for more than 200 years.  In the afternoon, you will go to Monticello. This is the home of our third President, Thomas Jefferson. You will get to tour the house that Jefferson designed and built for himself and his family and enjoy the Monticello Plantation. You will then head to Williamsburg this evening. You will stop for dinner en-route.  Upon arrival, you will check in to the hotel for the evening.

Day 2
This morning you will have breakfast.  You will check out of your rooms and put your bags on the bus. This morning you will go over to Jamestown and the Yorktown Victory Center. Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center are two of America’s most exciting outdoor classrooms. There you will love discovering the sights and sounds of the 17th and 18th centuries while learning about their nation’s history. You will then have a quick lunch. After lunch, you will go over to Colonial Williamsburg.  There you will have an 18th-century revolutionary adventure. This afternoon you will experience a colonial city and meet the citizens who helped build are great nation. You will have a three-hour guided tour and admission to the exhibition buildings, colonial trade shops, and colonial homes of the Historic Area. You will then have dinner at Sal’s (or similar). Following dinner, you will depart for Washington, DC. Upon arrival, you will check in to the hotel for the evening.

Day 3
You will have breakfast at the hotel and begin your day. You will then go over the White House Visitor’s Center. You will then have a picture stop at the White House. From there, you will go over to Ford’s Theatre and Petersen House where President Lincoln was shot and then later died.  Then, you will go over the Holocaust Museum. You will break for lunch. Following lunch,  you will go over to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum where you will get to see the different exhibits. You will then get to spend rest of the afternoon visiting the Smithsonian Museums of your choice (American Indian Museum, The Natural History Museum and the American History Museum).  You will have a late dinner at Buca di Beppo (or similar).  Following dinner, you will begin your evening tour seeing the NEW Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial, the Franklin D Roosevelt Memorial and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. From there, you will go back to the hotel for the evening.

Day 4
You will have an early breakfast at the hotel. You will begin your day by going to Mount Vernon, home of George Washington. You will get to see his house, plantation and the beautiful gardens. You will then have lunch at Ballston Mall. Next, you will go over to Arlington National Cemetery where you will get to see the Changing of the Guards, the Kennedy Gravesites and the Challenger Memorial.  From there, you will go over to the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Korean Memorial and the WWII Memorial. After that, you will have dinner at Phillips Flagship Restaurant (or similar).  Following dinner, you will go to old town Alexandria for a Ghost Tour. You will then return back to the hotel for the evening.

Day 5
You will have and breakfast and check out of our rooms. You will load your bags on the bus and begin your final day of touring. You will start by going to the National Archives where you will see many federal government documents including the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. From there, you will go over to the Supreme Court and hear a lecture (if available).  You will then go over to the Library of Congress.  You will then take the tunnel from the Library of Congress that goes underground the streets of Washington DC and go over to Capitol Hill.  You will get to have lunch at the the new Visitors Center cafeteria. Following lunch, you will then take a tour of Capitol Hill.  In the afternoon, you will depart for home.

Day 1
Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide and begin your tour. You will start by going to Arlington National Cemetery where you will see the Changing of the Guards, Kennedy Gravesites, and the Challenger Memorial.  You will then go over to see the Iwo Jima Memorial.  From there, you will go have lunch at Ballston Mall.  Following lunch, you will go to the White House for a picture stop.  Then, you will go over to Ford’s Theatre and Petersen House.  You will then have dinner.  Following dinner, you will go over to the Martin Luther King, Jr, National Memorial, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial and the Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial. You will then go to the hotel and check in for the evening.

Day 2
You will have breakfast and begin your day going to the Supreme Court and the Library of Congress.  You will then take the tunnel under ground and go over to Capitol Hill for a tour and then also have lunch.  After, you will then go over to the National Archives.  Then, you will take a drive down Embassy Row passing by the National Cathedral.  Your next stop will be the National Zoo to visit with the panda’s. After that, you will go by Judiciary Square. Then, you will have dinner.  Following dinner, you will begin your evening program at the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Memorial and the Korean Memorial.  Then, you will go over to the WWII Memorial.  You will then go back to the hotel for the evening.

Day 3
This morning you will have an early breakfast and go to Gettysburg this morning. When you arrive you’ll see the film, “A New Birth of Freedom” at the Visitors Center.  After the film you’ll drive out to the battlefield where you’ll take a guided tour and learn about one of the Civil War’s bloodiest battles.  In the afternoon you’ll have lunch at the Dobbin House Tavern and then get a history lesson as you see a performance of, “A Visit with Mr. Lincoln” where an actor will impersonate our 16th president.  After the performance you’ll drive back to Washington, DC. Once you arrive back, you will have a late dinner.  Following dinner, you will go over to Alexandria for a Ghost Tour.  You will then return back to the hotel for the evening.

Day 4
This morning you will have breakfast and check out of our rooms. You will then put your bags on the bus and begin your final day by going to the Holocaust Museum. From there, you will go to the Smithsoniam Museum of American History and the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Your next stop will be the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum where we will also have lunch. Following lunch, you will go to Mount Vernon, home of George Washington. You will get to see the house, the gardens and the plantation.  You will then depart for home.

Day 1
Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide and begin your tour. You will head into Boston for dinner at the Hard Rock Café in Fanueil Hall.  After dinner you’ll head to your hotel for check in.

Day 2
This morning you’ll head into downtown Boston and take a break for lunch at Fanueil Hall.  After lunch we'll take a guided tour of the city including a drive by and/or visit to the Freedom Trail, the North End, the Old North Church, Paul Revere's House, Boston Common, Copley Square, Harvard Square and Cambridge.  After the tour you’ll have some free time in Harvard Square and then you’ll depart for New York City.  Upon arrival you’ll check into your hotel and then have dinner.

Day 3
After breakfast in the hotel, we'll take a guided half day tour of Manhattan including a visit to Central Park, Fifth Avenue, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Little Italy, SOHO, Wall Street, the World Financial Center and Ground Zero.  After the tour, we’ll have some free time to walk around and shop in Chinatown.  In the afternoon you’ll have an optional visit to the United Nations.  Then you’ll have dinner and in the evening you’ll have an optional visit to the Empire State Building.

Day 4

After breakfast in the hotel, we'll check out and begin the drive to Philadelphia. (Approx 2.5 hours).  When we arrive, we’ll take a break for lunch at the Reading Terminal Market.  After lunch, we'll stop by the Art Museum for a photo by the “Rocky Steps”.  Then we’ll see the liberty bell and take a tour at Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was signed.  After the tour is finished, we'll continue the drive to Washington DC (Approx 2.5 hours).  When we arrive, we'll check into our hotel and then have dinner at a restaurant near the hotel.

Day 6
After breakfast in your hotel you’ll head downtown and then wait on line for tickets to the permanent exhibition at the Holocaust Museum.  After your visit you’ll take a drive over to Arlington National Cemetery for a tour.  In the afternoon you’ll have free time at the Smithsonian Museums.  In the evening you’ll have dinner and then make a photo stop at the White House.  You’ll also see the WWII Memorial and some of the other illuminated memorials before heading back to your hotel for the evening

This morning you'll check out of our hotel and head downtown for a tour of the Capitol Building.  After your tour, you'll cross the street and take a tour of the U.S. Supreme Court.  Next, you'll take a break for lunch at the Union Station Food Court.  After lunch, you’ll take a quick guided tour of the city including a visit to the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, WWII Memorial and the Vietnam War Memorial before heading home.

Day 1
Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide and begin your tour. You will start by visiting the National Constitution Center, where you’ll have time to see the exhibits and see the multi-media presentation “Freedom Rising.” You’ll then have lunch at the Bourse Food Court. Following lunch, you will walk over to the Franklin Court & Museum where you will see a short film on the life of Benjamin Franklin.  You’ll then visit the Franklin Print Shop, where you’ll have a real live printing demonstration by a Park Services Ranger. You’ll also visit the Postal Service Museum there. You will then walk back over to the Liberty Bell Pavilion where you will visit the Liberty Bell. After that, you will walk across the street to Independence Hall where you will get to hear a lecture by a National Park Ranger about the history of Independence Hall. You will then go to Reading Terminal Market where you will have some free time to explore the crafts and food that the market has to offer. After that, you will go to dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. Following dinner, you will go check in to the hotel for the evening.

Day 2
You will have breakfast and check out of the hotel. You will load your bags on the bus and begin your day. You will start at The Amish Farm and House, where you’ll take a guided tour of a historic 1850’s farmhouse. After, you’ll have time to wander the farm. You will then go to lunch at the Good ‘N Plenty Restaurant. Following lunch, you will take a 20 minute countryside ride with Abe’s Buggy Rides. Then, you will depart for home.
