Day 1
Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide and begin your tour. You will start by taking the ferry over to Alcatraz where you’ll tour, “The Rock.”  When you return, you’ll take a ride on the cable car over to Union Square where you’ll have some free time for lunch and shopping.  In the late afternoon you’ll head back to your downtown hotel for check in and a break.  In the evening you’ll have dinner and then free time at Fisherman’s Wharf.

Day 2
This morning you’ll take a guided city sightseeing tour where you’ll visit the Civic Center, Union Square, Chinatown, Nob Hill, Alamo Square and the Painted Ladies, Twin Peaks, Lombard Street (the crooked one!), Fisherman’s Wharf and more.  In the afternoon you’ll have free time for lunch in Chinatown and then you’ll visit the Exploratorium before heading back to your hotel for a break before dinner.  In the evening you’ll have dinner.

Day 3
You will have breakfast and check out of the hotel. You will load your bags on the bus and begin your final day of touring. You will begin your day by going to the California Academy of Sciences to view the exhibits and have lunch in their cafeteria. After your visit you’ll depart and drive down to the Golden Gate Bridge for a walk across. You’ll continue to Pier 39 where you’ll have some free timebefore you depart for home.

Day 1
Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide and go check in to the hotel.  After a short break, you’ll walk over to Pier 39 where you’ll have dinner at he Hard Rock Café and then some free time by the shops.  You can also see the sea lions that sit on the docks right next to the pier.

Day 2
This morning you’ll have breakfast and then head out to Sacramento for the day. Once there, you’ll visit the State Capitol Museum and have a chance to tour this museum that also functions as the state’s working seat of government.  You’ll have lunch and then continue to the Sutter’s Fort and the California State Indian Museum.  After your visit you’ll take a step back in time in Old Sacramento where you’ll visit the California State Railroad Museum and then have a chance to explore the 28 acre national historic landmark district located right on the Sacramento River.  In the evening you’ll have dinner in Old Sacramento and then drive back to San Francisco.

Day 3
After breakfast you’ll take a guided city tour of San Francisco including a visit and or drive by the Italian neighborhood of North Beach, Twin Peaks, Alamo Square and the “Painted Ladies”, Nob Hill, Chinatown, Union Square and the Civic Center.  You’ll take a break for lunch in the Union Square area and can eat in the food court at the Westfield Center.  After lunch you’ll drive over to Golden Gate Park where you’ll see the Japanese Tea Gardens and then visit the California Academy of Sciences.  This “green” museum features a four story rain forest, an aquarium, and a “living roof” with soil and plants that help to regulate the museum’s indoor climate.  In the evening you’ll have dinner and then take a ride on the cable car before returning to the hotel for the evening.

Day 4
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll check out of your rooms and then board a ferry for Alcatraz.  You’ll learn about the history of “The Rock” from its origins as a military prison and its end as Federal prison that housed some of America’s most infamous criminals.  After your visit you’ll have lunch at the Ferry Building & Farmer’s Market and then head over to the AT&T Ball park for a guided tour.  After the tour you will depart for home.

Day 1
Upon arrival in San Francisco, you’ll be met by your local tour manager and head to your downtown hotel for check in. After you check in you’ll head to San Francisco's Italian North Beach neighborhood. You’ll have a guided visit with free time to explore of the neighborhood and then have dinner at a local Italian Restaurant before returning to your hotel for the night.
Day 2
This morning you’ll meet your coach and your guide for a guided sightseeing tour of San Francisco where you’ll visit the Civic Center, Union Square, Nob Hill, Coit Tower, Telegraph Hill, Alamo Square and the Painted Ladies, Twin Peaks, Lombard street (the crooked one!), Haight-Asbury, Ghiradelli Square and the Golden Gate Bridge.  After the tour, you’ll have a break for lunch (not included) and then you’ll take a tour at Alcatraz. In the evening you’ll have dinner at Bubba Gump's Shrimp Company located on Pier 39 by Fisherman's Wharf followed by free time.


Day 3

This morning, you’ll visit the Ferry Building Marketplace and Farmer's Market. You’ll take a tour, have time to visit the numerous eateries and specialty food stores and have lunch (not included).  In the afternoon, you’ll take a tour through America's largest Chinatown where you’ll learn about the history, folklore, culture and food. You’ll enjoy a tea tasting ceremony, visit a fortune cookie factory, visit neighborhood markets, a Chinese herbal shop and then have authentic Chinese food for dinner. 
Day 4

This morning you’ll meet your coach and drive to Berkeley to tour the Edible School Yard. After the tour, you’ll meet with a chef at Chez Panisse (subject to availability) who will talk about their career and the operation one of America's most popular restaurants. You’ll have lunch at Chez Panisse Café.  Then you’ll board your coach for the drive to Napa where you’ll tour the Culinary Institute of America’s Greystone Campus.  After the tour you’ll have a three-course dinner at their restaurant, The Wine Spectator and then return to your hotel for the night.
Day 5

This morning you’ll take a tour of San Francisco's Latin American Mission District. You’ll enjoy the wonderful aromas, sights and sounds as you explore this famous neighborhood. You’ll visit a tortilla shop and learn how tortillas are made, a Panaderia (Mexican bakery), and a local butcher shop. You’ll also learn about the exotic fruits, vegetables and chilis used to prepare these meals. You’ll have lunch at a Mexican restaurant.  In the evening you’ll go to the Teatro ZinZanni dinner theatre.  Teatro ZinZanni is a bewitching evening of European Cabaret and Cirque, Divas and Madmen, Spectacle and Sensuality with Live Music and a Gourmet Five-Course Dinner.  Afterwards you’ll return to your hotel for the night.
Day 6

This morning you’ll check out of your hotel and board your coach.  You’ll take a drive to Muir Woods where you’ll see enormous trees on this 550 acre National Park Site. After your visit, you’ll depart for home.

Day 1
You’ll depart for your trip in the morning and arrive in Seattle in the afternoon.  Upon arrival in Seattle, you’ll be met by your local tour manager.  You’ll head to the Museum of History and Industry in its brand new home in the historic Naval Reserve Building in Lake Union Park. The Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) is dedicated to enriching lives by preserving, sharing and teaching the diverse history of Seattle, the Puget Sound region and the nation.  You’ll have time to explore the museum and have lunch (not included).  After your visit you’ll head to Theo’s Chocolate Factory for a private tour.  Theo Chocolate is the first organic, fair trade, bean-to-bar chocolate factory in the United States.  After your visit you’ll have dinner and then head to Seattle’s famous Space Needle.  Enjoy a 41-second elevator ride that takes you up 520 feet to the observation deck of the Space Needle, which was built for the 1962 World’s Fair.  Then you’ll drive to your hotel and check in for the night.

Day 2

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll board the coach and head to the Boeing Plant for a tour.  You’ll be able to explore the interactive exhibits and displays in the 28,000-square-foot Aviation Center Gallery; then go behind the scenes for a tour of the Boeing plant where you can watch 747s, 777s, or 787s being assembled right before your eyes. After your visit you’ll head to Pike Place Market for lunch (not included) and some free time. Called “The Soul of Seattle,” Pike Place Market is internationally recognized as America's premier farmers' market and is home to more than 200 year-round commercial businesses; 190 craftspeople and approximately 100 farmers who rent table space by the day; 240 street performers and musicians; and more than 300 apartment units, most of which provide housing for low-income elderly people.  After lunch you’ll head to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a guided tour.  The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center is a public space where you can see and learn about the foundation's work and its efforts to help people around the world live healthy and productive lives.  It offers an optimistic experience that encourages both reflection and civic engagement.  After your visit you’ll have dinner and some free time.
Day 3

This morning you’ll have breakfast and then check out of your hotel and board the coach for the all-day drive to Sacramento.  You’ll stop for lunch along the way (not included).  Upon arrival you’ll have dinner and check into your hotel for the night.
Day 4

After breakfast you’ll check out of your hotel and board your coach.  You’ll visit the California State Railroad Museum.  Located in Old Sacramento, the museum is a complex of historic facilities and unique attractions and is widely regarded as North America's most popular railroad museum. After your visit you’ll head to the California Automobile Museum where you’ll have time to explore on your own.  Be sure to check out the permanent exhibit “Going Green.” Afterwards you’ll have lunch (not included) and then drive to Sonoma where you’ll take a guided agricultural tour of a local ranch.  You’ll learn about dry-farming, pet the new baby lambs and goats, pick seasonal berries and see a spinning demo.  Afterwards you’ll head into San Francisco and check into your hotel.  You’ll have some time to relax before you head to Fisherman’s Wharf for some free time and dinner.

Day 5

After breakfast at your hotel you’ll meet your coach for a guided sightseeing tour of San Francisco where you’ll visit the Civic Center, Union Square, Nob Hill, Coit Tower, Telegraph Hill, Alamo Square and the Painted Ladies, Twin Peaks, Lombard street (the crooked one!), Haight-Asbury, Ghiradelli Square and the Golden Gate Bridge.  After the tour, you’ll have a break for lunch (not included) and then you’ll take a tour at Alcatraz. In the evening you’ll have dinner and free time.
Day 6

After breakfast at your hotel you’ll visit the Tech Museum in Silicon Valley.  The Tech Museum is a hands-on technology and science museum for people of all ages and backgrounds.  The museum, located in the Capital of Silicon Valley, is a non-profit learning resource established to inspire the innovator in everyone.  After your visit you’ll head to the San Francisco Botanical Garden.  You’ll have lunch on your own outside of the museum (not included) and then spend the afternoon enjoying the gardens.  In the evening you’ll have free time and dinner at Pier 39.
Day 7

This morning you’ll check out of your hotel and board your coach.  You’ll visit the California Academy of Sciences.  The new Academy brings the whole universe under one roof - an aquarium, a planetarium, a natural history museum and more! The 412,000 square foot structure is not only physically impressive, but it just may be the greenest museum on the planet, with a 2 ½ acre Living Roof, an expansive solar canopy, an extensive water reclamation system, and walls insulated with recycled blue jeans. After your visit, you’ll depart for home.
