Day 1
Upon arrival, you will meet your tour guide and head to Pike Place Market. Born in 1907, Seattle’s Pike Place Market is the granddaddy of farmers’ markets. They have flowers by the bucketful, flying fish, fresh pastries and fruit, handmade cheeses, local honey, wine, an assortment of restaurants, import goods, antiques, collectibles and lots of surprises around every corner. You will also have a break for lunch. Following lunch, you will go to the Seattle Art Museum. The newly expanded museum offers an outstanding permanent collection and notable special exhibits. You will then go to the Seattle Aquarium where you will get to meet Lootas, the Aquarium’s famous sea otter and subject of a popular children’s book. In the evening, you will go to dinner. Following dinner, you will go check in to the hotel for the evening.
Day 2

You will have breakfast at the hotel and begin your day. This morning you’ll go to The Space Needle. Enjoy a 41-second elevator ride that takes you up 520 feet to the observation deck of the Space Needle, which was built for the 1962 World’s Fair. From there, you will go to Olympic Sculpture Park. This nine-acre open and vibrant green space is home to art. This new waterfront park gives Seattle residents and visitors the opportunity to experience a variety of sculpture in an outdoor setting, while enjoying panoramic views and beauty of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound. You will the break for lunch. Following lunch, you will go the Seattle Asian Art Museum. The Asian Art Museum features noteworthy collections of Chinese, Korean, and Southeast Asian art, and its Japanese art collection is among the most distinguished outside of Japan. From there, you will go to the Henry Art Gallery which is the oldest public art museum in the state. This museum serves as a catalyst for some of the most exciting new work. In the evening, you will go down to Seattle Center for some free time to walk around explore “The Seattle Mural”. You will then go to dinner. Following dinner, you will be able to explore and have free time on your own.
Day 3

You will have breakfast at the hotel and begin your day by going down to Tacoma for the half the day. You will start by going to the Tacoma Art Museum. It displays remarkable collections of work by Northwest artists and features traveling exhibits throughout the year. The museum is host to a permanent display of glass art by Tacoma native and world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly. You will then break for lunch and have free time to explore. In the afternoon, you will drive back to Seattle where you will go on Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour. After the Great Seattle Fire of 1889, the city was rebuilt over the top of the ruins. This guided tour will take you through the hidden subterranean passages that once were the main roadways and storefronts of old downtown. In the evening, you will have some free time to explore on your own. You will then go to dinner. Following dinner, you will go back to the hotel for the evening.
Day 4

You will have breakfast at the hotel and begin your day at the Frye Art Museum where you will get to see collections of 19th and 20th century American, German, and French paintings. From there, you will take a scenic boat cruise to Blake Island for lunch and free time at Tillicum Village. In the evening, you will go to the Theo Chocolate Factory. The chocolate factory is the nation’s first and only organic fair trade certified true chocolate makers. You will then depart for home.

Day 1
You’ll depart for your trip in the morning and arrive in Seattle in the afternoon.  Upon arrival in Seattle, you’ll be met by your local tour manager.  You’ll head to the Museum of History and Industry in its brand new home in the historic Naval Reserve Building in Lake Union Park. The Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) is dedicated to enriching lives by preserving, sharing and teaching the diverse history of Seattle, the Puget Sound region and the nation.  You’ll have time to explore the museum and have lunch (not included).  After your visit you’ll head to Theo’s Chocolate Factory for a private tour.  Theo Chocolate is the first organic, fair trade, bean-to-bar chocolate factory in the United States.  After your visit you’ll have dinner and then head to Seattle’s famous Space Needle.  Enjoy a 41-second elevator ride that takes you up 520 feet to the observation deck of the Space Needle, which was built for the 1962 World’s Fair.  Then you’ll drive to your hotel and check in for the night. Overnight in Seattle. Day 2
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll board the coach and head to the Boeing Plant for a tour.  You’ll be able to explore the interactive exhibits and displays in the 28,000-square-foot Aviation Center Gallery; then go behind the scenes for a tour of the Boeing plant where you can watch 747s, 777s, or 787s being assembled right before your eyes. After your visit you’ll head to Pike Place Market for lunch (not included) and some free time. Called “The Soul of Seattle,” Pike Place Market is internationally recognized as America's premier farmers' market and is home to more than 200 year-round commercial businesses; 190 craftspeople and approximately 100 farmers who rent table space by the day; 240 street performers and musicians; and more than 300 apartment units, most of which provide housing for low-income elderly people.  After lunch you’ll head to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for a guided tour.  The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center is a public space where you can see and learn about the foundation's work and its efforts to help people around the world live healthy and productive lives.  It offers an optimistic experience that encourages both reflection and civic engagement.  After your visit you’ll have dinner and some free time. Day 3
This morning you’ll have breakfast and then check out of your hotel and board the coach for the all-day drive to Sacramento.  You’ll stop for lunch along the way (not included).  Upon arrival you’ll have dinner and check into your hotel for the night. Day 4
After breakfast you’ll check out of your hotel and board your coach.  You’ll visit the California State Railroad Museum.  Located in Old Sacramento, the museum is a complex of historic facilities and unique attractions and is widely regarded as North America's most popular railroad museum. After your visit you’ll head to the California Automobile Museum where you’ll have time to explore on your own.  Be sure to check out the permanent exhibit “Going Green.” Afterwards you’ll have lunch (not included) and then drive to Sonoma where you’ll take a guided agricultural tour of a local ranch.  You’ll learn about dry-farming, pet the new baby lambs and goats, pick seasonal berries and see a spinning demo.  Afterwards you’ll head into San Francisco and check into your hotel.  You’ll have some time to relax before you head to Fisherman’s Wharf for some free time and dinner. Overnight in San Francisco. Day 5
After breakfast at your hotel you’ll meet your coach for a guided sightseeing tour of San Francisco where you’ll visit the Civic Center, Union Square, Nob Hill, Coit Tower, Telegraph Hill, Alamo Square and the Painted Ladies, Twin Peaks, Lombard street (the crooked one!), Haight-Asbury, Ghiradelli Square and the Golden Gate Bridge.  After the tour, you’ll have a break for lunch (not included) and then you’ll take a tour at Alcatraz. In the evening you’ll have dinner and free time. Day 6
After breakfast at your hotel you’ll visit the Tech Museum in Silicon Valley.  The Tech Museum is a hands-on technology and science museum for people of all ages and backgrounds.  The museum, located in the Capital of Silicon Valley, is a non-profit learning resource established to inspire the innovator in everyone.  After your visit you’ll head to the San Francisco Botanical Garden.  You’ll have lunch on your own outside of the museum (not included) and then spend the afternoon enjoying the gardens.  In the evening you’ll have free time and dinner at Pier 39. Day 7
This morning you’ll check out of your hotel and board your coach.  You’ll visit the California Academy of Sciences.  The new Academy brings the whole universe under one roof - an aquarium, a planetarium, a natural history museum and more! The 412,000 square foot structure is not only physically impressive, but it just may be the greenest museum on the planet, with a 2 ½ acre Living Roof, an expansive solar canopy, an extensive water reclamation system, and walls insulated with recycled blue jeans. After your visit, you’ll depart for home.
