Daily Itinerary
Upon arrival, you will meet your Tour Manager and then head to your first stop: SeaWorld! SeaWorld theme park, zoo and aquarium offers exciting rides and roller coasters, up-close animal encounters and more.
You will have lunch in the park.
In the evening you’ll have dinner at the Hard Rock Café and then head to your hotel for check in.
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll drive to Balboa Park where you’ll visit the Science Museum and also view an IMAX film. Located just blocks from downtown San Diego hotels, Balboa Park has a rich history reflected through its stunning architecture, thought-provoking exhibits installations, and cultural events throughout the year.
After the museum, you will spend the day at the San Diego Zoo. The Zoo is 100 acres in size. Well known for its lush, naturalistic habitats and unique animal encounters, the zoo is home to more than 3,700 rare and endangered animals. San Diego Zoo also boasts a prominent botanical collection of more than 700,000 plants.
In the evening you’ll have dinner at Albert’s Restaurant located in the zoo. You will have more free time in the zoo after dinner before returning to the hotel for the evening.
After breakfast at the hotel you will check out and head to the Mission Basilica San Diego de Alcala Church for a tour. California’s first mission was founded on July 16, 1769 by Saint Junípero Serra, a Franciscan priest. The first of a chain of 21 missions that stretch northward along the coast of California, Mission San Diego became known as the Mother of the Missions.
After the tour you will visit the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. Explore 1,800 acres of expansive savannas rich with wildlife! Witness the coexistence of rhinos, giraffes, wildebeest, and large herds of animals roaming together. Navigate through bamboo forests for an encounter with Sumatran tigers, hop alongside kangaroos, and submerge yourself to meet the only two platypuses outside of Australia!
You’ll have lunch in the park.
You’ll then depart for home.
