Daily Itinerary
Upon arrival in Los Angeles, you will meet your Tour Manager and head to the famous Farmers Market, which features more than 100 restaurants, grocers and tourist shops. It all began in July 1934, when 18 farmers and merchants parked their trucks on vacant Gilmore land, selling produce to local housewives. The idea was so successful that by Fall, the Farmers Market had stalls and shops, restaurants and special events. You can also shop or eat at the adjacent shopping center, The Grove.
After lunch, you will experience the Griffith Observatory. The observatory is an icon of Los Angeles, a national leader in public astronomy, a beloved civic gathering place, and one of southern California’s most popular attractions. Located on the south slope of Mt. Hollywood, the Observatory lets visitors look through public telescopes, experience astronomy exhibits and enjoy the most spectacular views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Sign.
Tonight, you’ll thrill to a rousing, two-hour live jousting tournament, marvel at awe-inspiring horsemanship and falconry, at Medieval Times.
This morning your Dance Group will participate in a 90 minute custom dance workshop tailored for your group.
Next, you’ll take a VIP tour of Warner Brothers Studios. See “behind-the-scenes” and “Into-the-scenes” of your favorite shows and movies at the world’s busiest motion picture and television studio. Guests of the Warner Bros VIP Tour are offered a rare and intimate glimpse into real Hollywood at work. The 2 hour 15 minute tour via carts takes you through back lot streets, sound stages, sets and craft shops. No two tours are alike and guides take you to where the action is. Walk on to the set of a hit television show, watch as Foley artists create sound effects for movies, see how sets are constructed, peruse over 10 million items in the prop department, see your favorite vehicles from film and television up close, and the list goes on. And always be on the lookout for stars as production is happening all around.
After lunch, you’ll take a guided tour of the city and you’ll see the famous Hollywood sign, Hollywood Boulevard, TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman’s and Mann’s Chinese Theatre), the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive and more.
This evening, you’ll visit Olvera Street, the oldest part of Downtown Los Angeles, and part of the El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument. It is a historical landmark in Los Angeles.
Today you’ll spend the day at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure where you will also perform at one of Disneyland’s iconic venues! Your admission allows you to come and go as you please through either park. You’ll also get to experience a Youth Education Series Experience. This is a collection of guided field studies, available in Applied Sciences, Environmental Studies, Liberal Arts and Leadership Development, is accredited, standards-based and designed to reinforce your classroom lessons. Practice teamwork, critical thinking and problem-solving skills as your group participates in one-of-a-kind moments that use the magic of Disney to make learning even more impactful.
Today you will visit the California Science Center and the Space Shuttle Endeavour where you will see parts of Endeavour and the external tank.
After lunch, you’ll visit Santa Monica where you can enjoy the beach, the downtown area and the pier. Santa Monica Pier is one of California’s oldest pleasure piers. This famous pier is within walking distance of the Third Street Promenade and the newly refurbished Santa Monica Place Mall and offers one of the most spectacular sunset views in California. The Third Street Promenade is filled with shops and restaurants for you to enjoy.
Your trip will come to a close as you head to your bus or the airport to begin your trip home.
