Daily Itinerary
You will begin your trip to Santa Monica, California. If your trip requires an overnight ride, you will begin the journey this evening.
Upon arrival, you’ll visit Santa Monica where you can enjoy the beach, the downtown area and the pier. Santa Monica Pier is one of California’s oldest pleasure piers. This famous pier is within walking distance of the Third Street Promenade and the Santa Monica Place Mall and offers one of the most spectacular sunset views in California. The Third Street Promenade is filled with shops and restaurants for you to enjoy.
After breakfast this morning, you’ll rehearse for the Rose Parade.
Next, you will visit the famous Farmers Market that’s been operating since July 1934! When 18 farmers and merchants parked their trucks on vacant land to sell produce to local housewives, the idea was so successful that by the Fall, the Farmers Market had stalls and shops, restaurants and even special events. Today you’ll enjoy the variety of food options as you walk through the market. You can also shop or eat in the adjacent shopping center, The Grove.
After lunch, you’ll have free time to visit the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. You’ll see the stars on the sidewalk along Hollywood Boulevard and have a chance to see the handprints of your favorite stars at the Chinese Theatre.
This evening you will experience the Griffith Observatory, an icon of Los Angeles. The observatory is a national leader in public astronomy, a beloved civic gathering place, and one of southern California’s most popular attractions. Located on the south slope of Mt. Hollywood, the Observatory lets visitors look through public telescopes, experience astronomy exhibits and enjoy the most spectacular views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Sign.
After breakfast, you’ll rehearse for the Rose Parade.
Next, you’ll visit the Getty Museum. The J. Paul Getty Museum seeks to inspire curiosity and enjoyment of the visual arts by collecting, conserving, exhibiting and interpreting works of art of outstanding quality and historical importance.
You’ll visit Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and have an opportunity to shop on this famous street where the movie stars shop!
Today you will march and perform in the Rose Parade and enjoy the festivities!
This morning, you’ll enjoy the amusements and attractions at Universal Studios. Find a full day of action-packed entertainment all in one place: thrilling theme park rides and shows, a real working movie studio, and Los Angeles’ best shops, restaurants and cinemas at CityWalk.
If you have an overnight right home, you will begin your ride home.
Your adventures concludes as you arrive home.
