Daily Itinerary
You’ll depart on your flight.
Welcome to Greece! Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll meet your Tour Manager.
Your bus will pick you up and you’ll head to your accommodation to store your luggage. If your rooms are ready, you’ll check in.
This evening you’ll have a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
You’ll have breakfast at your hotel.
Your adventure will begin with a one-day cruise from Athens to the Saronic islands of Hydra, Poros, and Aegina. You’ll enjoy the sun, sea & entertainment! Your first stop is Hydra, featuring cobblestone alleys, architectural beauty, and still using the traditional method of transportation by donkey. Next is Poros, a hilly island rich with vegetation, including old growth pine forests, which add a beautiful sense of calm to this popular weekend getaway. Your final stop will be Aegina, known across the world for the delicious pistachios, the beautiful beaches, the Temple of Aphaia and St. Nektarios Monastery.
On Aegina you’ll take a cultural tour and travel the island by bus. Experienced guides will provide commentary about the island, its history and the importance of pistachios. You’ll visit the famous ancient temple of Aphaia alongside with the monastery of St. Nektarios.

This morning you’ll visit one of the most well known archaeological sites in the world. Occupied since the Neolithic era, the Acropolis became the home of the cult of Athena and the ruins of the buildings constructed in 5th century still stand as examples of the wealth and power of Athens. There are a number of religious buildings on top of the Acropolis including the Parthenon, Temple of Hephaistos and Temple of Olympian Zeus.
You’ll visit the Acropolis Museum, which holds archaeological artifacts from the Acropolis of Athens from the Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. Glass floors allow you to see the ongoing excavation of houses and public buildings from the 5th B.C. to the 7th A.D still present at the site!

You’ll visit the Panathenaic Stadium, located on the site of an ancient stadium that was once a host to various games and competitions. Its rich history is directly connected to the Modern Olympic Games, which it hosted in 1896 and again during the Athens Olympic Games in 2004. The Panathenaic Stadium is the final destination in Greece before the Olympic flame is handed over to the host country during the Olympic Games.
You will visit the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens.
Next you’ll explore the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, a multifunctional and environmentally sustainable center for education, art, sports and leisure.

Enjoy a collection of holograms, optical illusion, and other exhibits designed to fool the eye during a visit to the Museum of Illusion in Athens. Enter the fascinating world of illusions and let your imagination run free in the vast expanse of the Infinity Room, defy the laws of gravity in the Reverse Room, and shrink to miniature size in the Ames Room.
Next you’ll get to experience the marvelous world of mosaic art during a workshop at 13 Mosaic. You’ll split into small groups and learn how to make your own mosaic.

You’ll be picked up by bus today for a day trip to the town of Delphi, where you’ll discover archeological ruins and learn more about the Pythian Games.
The sanctuary of Delphi, set within a most spectacular landscape, was for many centuries the cultural and religious centre and symbol of unity for the Hellenic world. Today you’ll visit the site and museum that was home to the most famous oracle of ancient Greece in a place that was once was regarded as the centre of the world.

On your final day in Athens, you’ll be free to explore the city!

Then you’ll head to the airport for your return trip home.
