Daily Itinerary

1

You’ll depart on your flight.

When you arrive in New York, you will meet your tour manager, then you’ll depart the airport and drive to your hotel.

You’ll arrive at your hotel and check in. If your rooms are not ready, you’ll store your bags with the bellhop and continue on your tour.

After lunch, you’ll take an orientation walk in midtown with visits or stops in Times Square, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Fifth Avenue and more.

You’ll visit the Museum of Broadway, an interactive and experiential museum that celebrates Broadway’s rich history, the behind-the-scenes and its game changers.

After dinner, you’ll head up to the 70th floor observatory at the Top of the Rock where you’ll enjoy a fantastic view of the Manhattan skyline.

2

After breakfast, you’ll depart on the Ferry for Ellis Island where you’ll have fantastic views of the Statue of Liberty and a chance to visit the Immigration Museum. Ellis Island served as the main port of entry for European immigrants arriving in the US between 1892 and 1924. Today over 100 million Americans can trace their lineage to a relative that passed through Ellis Island on their way to America.

You’ll walk up through the financial district past the famous “Charging Bull,” past Trinity Church and the New York Stock Exchange and then up to the World Trade Center.

You’ll arrive at the 9/11 Memorial located in the footprint of the former Twin Towers. The memorial is a tribute of remembrance and honor to the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks of September 11, 2001. The Memorial’s twin reflecting pools are each nearly an acre in size and feature the largest manmade waterfalls in the North America. The pools sit within the footprints where the Twin Towers once stood.

Brookfield Place, originally known as the World Financial Center, is a complex of office buildings located across West Street from the World Trade Center in Battery Park City. The lower levels of this office complex have amazing views of the Hudson with shops and eateries. It is home to Le District, a gourmet French market with take out and eat in options. Above it you’ll find the Hudson Eats food court with numerous reasonably priced eateries.

After lunch, you will head to the Brooklyn Bridge. You can walk across and see the fantastic views of the Manhattan skyline from the walking path and also from Brooklyn Bridge Park on the other side of the bridge. If weather or time does not permit, you can walk midway across and still see the amazing views.

You’ll visit Chinatown and Little Italy where you’ll have some free time to explore and shop.

After dinner, you’ll see a Broadway show.

3

After breakfast, you’ll participate in your Believe NYC workshop. First you’ll see a forty-five minute one-woman show that tells the true story of a young girl’s journey to get to New York and pursue a career on the stage. After this inspiring performance, you’ll participate in a theatre workshop. You’ll choose your workshop topic in advance. Topics vary and include mock auditions, stage combat, song & dance, etc. The program ends with a Q&A session with the actress, musical director and a surprise Broadway guest!

After lunch, you’ll visit the Met and see the world! With nearly two million works of art spanning more than 5,000 years, The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the world’s largest and finest museums, presenting the best of human creativity from around the globe. When you arrive you’ll have free time to explore the galleries on your own.

You’ll visit Central Park. You’ll see the Imagine Memorial to John Lennon at Strawberry Fields, the Bethesda Fountain, the Boathouse, the Mall, Sheep Meadow and the Wollman Ice Rink.

You’ll head down Fifth Avenue to see some of the famous stores and boutiques. You’ll see Apple’s flagship store and the Plaza Hotel (featured in “Home Alone 2”) and then down Fifth Avenue past Tiffany’s and more.

After dinner, you’ll see a Broadway show.

4

After breakfast, you’ll check out of your hotel room. You’ll store your bags at the accommodations and then head out for the day.

You’ll visit Little Island, a public park that provides a one-of-a-kind relationship between nature and art—a break from urban life and a connection to spontaneity and joy. Components of the pier, nestled among more than 350 species of flowers, trees and shrubs, include a 687-seat amphitheater and an intimate stage and lawn space, along with dazzling views of other portions of Hudson River Park, New York City and the Hudson River.

You’ll visit the High Line Park. You will enter the park in the Meat Packing District, one of New York’s trendiest neighborhoods. Then you’ll see fantastic views of lower Manhattan and the Hudson River from this modern urban park. It has been built on an unused, elevated railway track between Chelsea and Penn Station.

You will visit the Chelsea Market where you can have lunch. This gourmet food market was built inside the former Nabisco factory in Chelsea and is now home to the Food Network and many gourmet food vendors.

After lunch, you’ll return to your hotel to retrieve your bags from the bellman and then you’ll board the bus for the airport.
