Daily Itinerary
Chicago is the third largest city in the U.S. and home of modern architecture and Blues music. While in Chicago, you will have the opportunity to experience historic architecture, world class museums, beautiful lakeside scenery, theater, deep-dish pizza and the hustle and bustle of big city life.
Upon arrival in Chicago, you will meet your Tour Manager and have free time for shopping at the Water Tower Place shopping mall on the Magnificent Mile.
Next you will visit the Art Institute of Chicago. This Classical Renaissance structure, guarded by two bronze lions at its entrance, boasts one of the world’s great art collections, including the trademark “American Gothic.”
You’ll visit Millennium Park, where you’ll see the amazing art and architecture including the reflective Kapoor Sculpture at Cloud Gate, the BP Bridge, the Jay Pritzker Pavilion and more.
You’ll have dinner and see the show at Medieval Times. As you thrill to a rousing, two-hour live jousting tournament, marvel at awe-inspiring horsemanship and falconry, Medieval Times serves a four-course meal fit for royalty.
After breakfast, you will experience the beauty of Chicago on a sightseeing architecture river tour. This 60-minute tour takes you past dozens of world-renowned buildings, including Tribune Tower, the Wrigley Building, Marina City, Willis (Sears) Tower. The entertaining guides will enthrall you with the stories behind these and dozens of other Chicago landmarks.
Next, you will enjoy live science experiences at the largest science museum in the Western Hemisphere at the Museum of Science and Industry.
After lunch, you will enjoy spectacular views spanning up to four states from atop the Chicago Skydeck.
After dinner, you will explore Navy Pier. Located on the shoreline of Lake Michigan, Navy Pier showcases a unique collection of restaurants and shops in addition to unequaled recreational and exhibition facilities – in a setting like no other!
On your final morning, you’ll visit the Field Museum. As one of America’s premier natural history museums, the Field’s “Live Over Time” exhibit now houses “Sue,” the largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus rex ever discovered.
Next you will visit the Shedd Aquarium, the largest indoor aquarium in the world, with more than 8,000 aquatic animals.
You’ll board your bus to head to the airport to begin your return trip home.
