Daily Itinerary
Upon arrival, you will meet your ETA tour manager and begin your trip.
Your first stop will be at historic Fort McHenry. A famous point of interest best known for its role in the Battle of Baltimore, Fort McHenry successfully staved off a British invasion. The event inspired Francis Scott Key, a lawyer and amateur poet, to compose the Star Spangled Banner, originally entitled Defense of Fort McHenry.
You’ll then visit the nation’s first wax museum of African-American history and culture. Featuring more than 100 life-like figures, including Martin Luther King Jr., Frederick Douglass, Nat Turner and Harriet Tubman, this museum represent various periods in African-American history, from the colonial era to the present. A replica of a slave ship and an exhibit on youth complete the museum’s offerings.
You’ll enjoy some free time to explore the shops and restaurants located in the harbor. Baltimore’s Inner Harbor is one of the most photographed and visited areas of the city. It has been one of the major seaports in the United States since the 1700s.
Next you’ll get out on the water and enjoy a 45 minute narrated cruise on Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and nearby landmarks.
Your final destination will be the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Travel to an Australian river gorge, descend through an Atlantic coral reef, explore a tropical rainforest, discover dolphins and sharks, and interact with animal experts!
Your adventure concludes as you begin the trip home.
