Program Summary
Prepare to be dazzled at the City of Fountains Treble Choir Festival! Conducted by the nationally recognized Christy Elsner, this event offers your treble choir an unparalleled musical experience. Not only will you have the honor of premiering a brand new work by the renowned Dr. Andrea Ramsey (commissioned exclusively for this festival), but you’ll also receive an invaluable one-on-one clinic with the directors of the Allegro Choirs of Kansas City.
That’s not all – your treble choir will take center stage with a solo performance opportunity in the grand concert. This is your chance to shine before an audience of fellow passionate musicians and choral enthusiasts.
This festival provides an all-inclusive package with lodging, meals, and sightseeing opportunities throughout the Kansas City area. Your singers will create memories that last a lifetime, both onstage and while exploring the city’s rich culture and history together.

Daily Itinerary
You will meet your tour manager, then head to the festival venue where you’ll have a BBQ dinner.
One you’ve fueled up, you’ll meet with all the other choirs for an evening rehearsal.
Then you’ll head to your hotel and check in for the night.
This morning you’ll have breakfast at the hotel, then board your bus and depart for the day.
You will meet with all choirs for a rehearsal.
Following rehearsal, your choir will receive a one hour clinic with a member of Allegro Choirs of Kansas City staff.
After the clinic you’ll head to the Kansas City Zoo! This zoo features more than 200 acres of adventure filled with more than 1,700 animals. You’ll feel as though you’ve traversed the world as you visit animals from the tropical rainforest, the African Savanna, the Australian Outback, the Asian mountainside, the north and south pole and everywhere in between! You will have lunch in the Kansas City Zoo with a meal voucher.
You will meet with all choirs for a rehearsal.
Then you’ll have dinner at one of the restaurants in Country Club Plaza (venue will vary by choir).
Enjoy free time to explore the shops and sites of Country Club Plaza. Students can stroll through 15 city blocks of Spanish-inspired architecture to discover dozens of fountains, trendy shops, and endless dining options at Kansas City’s premier retail center.
You will return to your hotel on the bus.
It’s performance day! This morning you’ll have breakfast at the hotel, check out of your hotel room, load up the bus and depart for the day.
You will meet with all choirs for a final dress rehearsal.
You will have a catered lunch prior to the concert.
You’ll take to the stage this afternoon to perform in the City of Fountains Treble Choir Festival! Each choir participating in the festival will present their skills as an individual choir and as part of a mass choir under the direction of Christy Elsner.
Following the performance there will be time for photos. Each choir will receive a commemorative award for their participation in the festival.
Afterwards, you’ll have dinner and time for bowling and games at at a local restaurant.
You’ll board your bus and begin the return trip home.
