Daily Itinerary
Upon arriving in Los Angeles, you will meet your Tour Manager. For your first adventure, you’ll take a guided tour of the city to see the famous Hollywood sign, Hollywood Boulevard, TCL Chinese Theatre (formerly Grauman’s and Mann’s Chinese Theatre), the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive and more.
Next, you’ll make your way to The Farmers Market. This area features more than 100 restaurants, grocers and tourist shops. It all began in July 1934 when 18 farmers and merchants parked their trucks on vacant Gilmore land, selling produce to local housewives. The idea was so successful that by Fall, the Farmers Market had stalls and shops, restaurants and special events. Today you’ll enjoy the variety of food options as you walk through the market.
After lunch, you’ll visit the Getty Museum. The J. Paul Getty Museum seeks to inspire curiosity about, and enjoyment and understanding of, the visual arts by collecting, conserving, exhibiting and interpreting works of art of outstanding quality and historical importance.
This afternoon, you’ll visit Santa Monica where you can enjoy the beach, the downtown area and the pier. Santa Monica Pier is one of California’s oldest pleasure piers. This famous pier is within walking distance of the Third Street Promenade and the newly refurbished Santa Monica Place Mall and offers one of the most spectacular sunset views in California. The Third Street Promenade is filled with shops and restaurants for you to enjoy.
You’ll spend the evening at Pacific Park, a family amusement park on the Santa Monica Pier. Step onto one exciting ride after another. Catch your breath, play a game, show off your skills and collect your prize.
This morning you’ll enjoy the amusements and attractions at Universal Studios. Here you’ll find a full day of action-packed entertainment all in one place: thrilling theme park rides and shows, a real working movie studio, and Los Angeles’ best shops and restaurants.
This afternoon you’ll have free time to explore, shop and eat at the Universal City Walk. This three-block entertainment, dining and shopping promenade will dazzle you! Options include dozens of restaurants, stores, and a 19-screen movie theater.
Today you’ll spend time enjoying Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. If you are in a performance group, you’ll participate in a performing arts workshop at Disneyland. This afternoon and evening you’ll continue exploring the parks.
Today you’ll have free time on Hollywood Boulevard. You’ll be right in the center of the action at the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hollywood & Highland Mall. The Walk of Fame comprises more than 2,500 stars celebrating the achievements of actors, musicians, directors, producers and others. At the TCL Chinese Theatre, you can compare your hands to those of some of your favorite stars including Marilyn Monroe, Jim Carey, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, Brad Pitt, Halle Berry and more! You’ll also have a chance to visit the Hollywood & Highland Mall.
This afternoon you’ll visit the Griffith Observatory. This iconic place is a national leader in public astronomy, a beloved civic gathering place, and one of southern California’s most popular attractions. Located on the south slope of Mt. Hollywood, the Observatory lets visitors look through public telescopes, experience astronomy exhibits and enjoy the most spectacular views of Los Angeles and the Hollywood Sign.
This evening your Los Angeles trip comes to a close as you depart on your return trip home.
