Today you’ll start your adventure to England to make unforgettable memories with your group.
Upon arrival in London, you’ll meet your Tour Manager and head to your hotel to rest for the exciting days ahead.
For your adventure today, you’ll take an unforgettable, professionally guided, panoramic city tour of London. See Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, London Bridge and more!
This morning you’ll visit one of the world’s most famous fortresses. The Tower of London has been a royal palace, a prison, an armory, a zoo, and is currently home to Her Majesty’s Crown Jewels.
You’ll visit the Tower Bridge and cross the Thames River. Constructed in 1894, Tower Bridge is a suspension bridge which provides a roadway across the Thames for over 40,000 people on a daily basis.
After lunch, you’ll take a tour of the iconic Globe Theatre. The modernized Elizabethan open air theatre that you’ll tour will transport you back in time with the engaging and informative look at the life of William Shakespeare, the London where he lived, and the theatre for which he wrote.
Before dinner, you’ll get a bird’s eye view of London when you take a ride on the London Eye! It’s a breathtaking feat of design and engineering that allows passengers to see up to 25 miles in all directions.
This evening you’ll have some free time to explore the area around Piccadilly Circus. This vibrant area is bustling with activity and shopping!
This morning, you’ll visit the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio. You’ll have a chance to go behind the scenes and see the detailed costumes, sets, props and animatronics that went into making the most successful film series of all time.
This afternoon, you’ll perform at a public venue.
Today you’ll also visit the London Dungeon. The ultimate thrill-filled journey through London’s murky past, the London Dungeon turns 1,000 years of history into 90 minutes of laughs, scares, special effects, jokes, and storytelling.
In the morning, you’ll visit Westminster Abbey, located in the heart of London. Kings and queens; soldiers and poets; heroes and villains have all walked this hallowed church. Today, Westminster Abbey welcomes over one million visitors per year to explore this wonderful 700-year-old building.
You’ll visit St. James’s Park where you’ll see Buckingham Palace, the principal residence and workplace for the monarchy of the United Kingdom. During your visit you’ll see the traditional Changing of the Guard Ceremony which happens daily from April through July and several times per week during other months.
After lunch, you’ll have some free time to shop on Oxford Street.
Next, you’ll visit the British Museum. Dedicated to human history and culture, its permanent collection of some 8 million works is among the largest and most comprehensive in existence. Artifacts from all seven continents illustrate the story of humanity from its beginnings to the present.
This evening, you’ll see a show at the West End show in London’s theatre district.
Today you’ll explore the hometown of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon. You’ll be free to roam this charming town with its cottages, churches and unique clock tower and soak up the atmosphere that inspired the prose of Shakespeare.
Next, you’ll explore Magic Alley, where you can buy a handmade wand, ingredients for casting spells, or even a book written by a wizard! Part magical attraction, part fairytale emporium, Magic Alley offers interactive quests with a variety of rotating themes and colorful characters.
This afternoon, you’ll visit the Holy Trinity Church, the burial site of William Shakespeare. It’s been said that he wrote the epitaph that appears on his tombstone, which some interpret as a curse for anyone who would dare disturb his final resting place.
This evening you’ll return to London for some free time before dinner.
Today your adventure comes to an end as you and your group start your journey back home.
